Purchased for fall overseeding

Had good success with this seed last year and will use on the 10,000 ft sq that was not seeded with Barenburg last year. The 30,000 ft sq that was overseeded with Barenburg has had a much deeper green all summer and seemed to need less irrigation. Hard to measure the amount of “rhizonomous” action there might have been, however, I had minimal bare spots where Barenburg was applied. Would have included pictures if this site had that capability.

Have used WS RTF before to overseed a very large. lawn. Great seed that performs as advertised. Not having a sprinkler system has made keeping the seed moist a difficult chore. Tried Yellow Jacket and with this year for thin areas with vg success. Will be only purchasing yellow jacket coated RTF in the future. Makes a great seed even better.

As long as you keep the seed out of direct sunlight and dry, the seed will easily be viable next year. Actually, we have professional customers who ask for last years seed because it germinates better.

Will this work in California region with hot weather (112F) and too much Sun exposure?

This seed would not be recommended for hot weather. We would recommend a warm season grass like Bermudagrass for your area.
