Frequently Asked Questions
A company spray this on my burning bushes and plum tree and has killed the leave as if it was burnt. Why has this happened?
Hello, Thank you for your question. There is nothing in Bifen 7.9 which would cause the vegetation to loose its leaves. The product is formulated to apply to vegetation and grass for the control of insects. I cannot speak directly as to what happened, but there may have been some other chemical in the sprayer that was not rinsed properly
A lawn company was spraying at the Neighbors house, was using Bifen 7.9f select. The were spaying it up in the shrubs and tree with a sprayer like a garden hose. It was directly (10 feet) away from my garden, saw some of the spray go over into my garden, twice before I could stop them, and the wind was blowing 10-15 mph in my direction. Is it safe to eat any of the fruit or vegetables (tomatoes, peppers, radish, lettuce, beets, peas, Nectarines, Kale, beans and watermelon) ???
The label states to not apply directly to food products. So DO NOT eat any fruit or vegetables that Bifen landed directly on.
