A landscaping guy recommended this product to me, and it’s the real deal. From now on, it will be a staple in garage for the pesky driveway weeds.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you reseed after using?
Yes, you can reseed after applying Cornerstone.
Per the Manufacturer’s label under the Non-Crop and Industrial Sites: “This product may be used prior to planting an area to ornamentals, flowers, turgrass (sod or seed), or prior to laying asphalt or beginning construction projects.”
Will this kill moss?
This will kill moss, or any vegetation it’s sprayed on.
How much product do you mix per gallon to kill weeds and grass? When is best time to apply? How long does it last before you have to reapply?
For general use, you would mix 2 oz of Cornerstone per gallon of water for weed and grass control. If the weeds are harder to kill, you could go as high as 13 oz (10 % solution) of Cornerstone per gallon of water. This 10% solution concentration would be extremely detrimental to most plants and grasses. Please see the Product Label for concentration rates page 6.
There is no residual control so you would have to re-apply when you see the weeds growing back again.
It is best to apply when there is no rain in the forecast for at least 12 hours, or enough time to allow the Cornerstone to dry on the leaves.
You will usually see effects in 7-10 days after spraying.
