replacement pump for Jacto backpack sprayer

The seals in the original 12 volt pump in my Jacto sprayer failed. My sprayer was equipped with a bubbler/mixer which required a split in the output line. The Diaphragm Pump Part JEP-80 #1265961 is configured differently from the original pump and the extra tubing for the bubbler did not fit in the space with the replacement pump, so I eliminated the bubbler function and replumbed the input and output for the replacement pump. Although I have to be mindful that I no longer have the bubbler function, the replacement pump works just fine.

Pump swapped in fine as a replacement for the existing pump on my sprayer, but initially would not move any water. I tried pouring water directly into the intake with no success, and finally fully submerged the pump in a bucket of water and that did the trick. Jacto customer support appears to only be available in Portuguese.
