Controls many tree and brush species, including blackberry, rose species, sweet gum, osage orange, lantana and wax myrtle. PastureGard HL is a good choice for sites where a residual herbicide cannot be used. Flexible, all-purpose brush control with broader spectrum than Remedy Ultra. Does not contain 2,4-D. Broadcast or individual plant treatment. Can be applied to foliage or basal bark. Non Restricted Use. Lactating dairy: next growing season. No restrictions for other livestock. Do not harvest hay for 14 days. New high-load formulation is easier on rubber seals in sprayers....Odor in new high-load formulation is improved - comparable with most herbicides.... Tank-mix flexibility with ForeFront HL or GrazonNext HL herbicides when a wide mix of woody plants and broadleaf weeds is present, or when residual weed control is desired ...Does not contain 2,4-D ...Is not a Restricted Use Pesticide ....Gentle to desirable grasses ...Absorbed through foliage and stems

  • Ideal for sites where excellent weed control without residual control is desirable
  • May be safely used around the roots of desirable trees; avoid drift to tree foliage

PastureGard Works Well To Kill Green Briar
Jul 7, 2023
Purchased PastureGard 2.5 gallon for use in fighting back green briar in my woods. I apply late in the summer usually in the end of August or early September. I always add a little surfactant and blue dye to my mix to help identify spot sprayed leaves and improve the binding of the product to the leaves. I spot spray with a 3 gallon solo sprayer usually a day or 2 after a rain. This stuff hurts them really bad but takes a few years of spot spraying to totally kill all of the root structure. Every year there are fewer and fewer sprouts until finally you have the entire root killed. I had some purchasing difficulties when buying this container in August 2022 and ended up giving Prosolutions 2 different credit cards in the process of completing the order. 2 - 3 weeks later both credit cards were fraudulently used and had to be canceled. One of the credit cards is only used once a every 12-18 months. Obviously, Prosolutions was the vector for criminal activity and just today I get an email finally admitting that their credit card processor had been breached for a full year and that my purchase fell within this window. I am being notified 8 months after Prosolutions discovered the breach and 4 months after I notified them that my credit cards had been compromised because of my purchase through their organization. Use this information to make wise decisions on where you by your Pasturegard. Pasturegard is a great product for green briar control.
